Medication Prior Authorization Course

Service Description

This 4 week training course is designed to train individuals on how to adequately complete the medication prior authorization process electronically, via telephone and as a written request. Students will learn how to identify medical necessity and how to conduct proper research to ensure the prior authorization aligns with insurance medical guidelines. At the completion of the training, students will be able to understand the use of ICD-10 codes, CPT and FDA approved diagnoses to get a prior authorization approved and how to create appeals for denied claims. Training package includes training resources and workbook. Special group rates and pricing are available for large medical practices.
